I am a Group Fitness Instructor. I teach Freestyle Step Aerobics, BodyPump, Indoor Cycle, Boxing Classes, Circuit Classes, and Aqua Aerobics.

Oh, yeah... and it's not just fat, apparently there's a baby in there too :)

Report back on Running Group

We had fun! Five people showed up - Brett, James, Daniela, Devi & me. We had a good talk together about what this group means to us and what we want it to be. Personally, I am excited about what this year will bring, specifically within this group.

If you are considering joining us and feeling unsure about whether you can keep up, or feeling intimidated, don't be. Come join us! We want to make this group a warm, friendly environment in which each individual can train at his/her own pace.

I know for sure that I am in a great position to encourage you to join us, because on Sunday we subjected ourselves to a series of fitness tests, and I came out with the smallest numbers for most of the tests. But that doesn't bother me, because whilst some people (James...) were competing with the rest of us, most of us were competing with ourselves.

So take it from the slowest, weakest person to show up on Sunday (that's me, in case you still didn't get that) ~ if you have a New Year's Resolution to get fitter and more active, we are here to work with you to achieve your goals.

If you've never run before, but want to try, then this group is certainly for you - we've got a couple of first timers joining us in the weeks to come so you will not be alone!
